Science on Stage festival 2024 takes place at the Turku UAS’ Kupittaa Campus, especially its two buildings EduCity and ICT City. Equipped with a wireless visitor network, these modern premises offer a great venue for our festival.
Turku UAS’ Kupittaa Campus in Turku is a part of the constantly evolving Turku Science Park. The area is an internationally significant cluster of business life and research. Several higher education institutions, hundreds of companies and a university hospital are located in the area, right next to the city centre of Turku.
Kupittaa Campus is located close to the Kupittaa (Turku) train station, about a 5-minute walk away.
EduCity
EduCity has a central location on Kupittaa campus. The building features many facilities for group work, which enables the encounters of both staff and students and a new kind of learning. In addition to the shared learning facilities, EduCity has laboratory and special premises, a work environment for the staff and a hub of internal services, Service Centre. The restaurant and the first pub on the entire campus are located on the first floor.

ICT City
The modern premises in ICT City are a part of Turku UAS’ Kupittaa Campus and Turku Science Park. For example future bachelors of social services, dental technicians, emergency nurses, physiotherapists, midwives, radiographers, nurses and engineers study on the campus.
